I’m Luis Miguel Castellanos, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Motion Designer, Art Director, and Creative Director with 14+ years of experience creating brand storytelling for broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms. My work often lives where strategy and design meet, especially in rebrands and brand refreshes.

I specialize in building motion-driven brand systems and campaign creative that stays consistent across every format, from hero visuals and show packaging to promos, social assets, and full brand toolkits. Over the years, I’ve led and collaborated with teams of designers, editors, and writers to deliver high-impact rebrands, network refreshes, and marketing campaigns that elevate brand perception and connect with audiences at scale.

I’m hands-on by nature. Design-first, detail-obsessed, and always thinking in rhythm, timing, and story. Whether I’m crafting a full motion package or directing a commercial spot, my goal is always the same: make the brand feel undeniable, clean, premium, and memorable.

Outside of work, I’m into photography, drawing, and interior design, anything visual that sharpens taste and fuels new ideas.

Tools

Throughout my creative journey, I have continually evolved and refined my choice of software tools to express myself to the fullest. Currently, my primary tools of choice are Cinema 4D and After Effects, where I leverage their seamless integration and a wide range of plugins like X-Particles and Turbulence FD to craft powerful and impactful motion designs.

In addition to my main tools, I am proficient in utilizing various supporting software, including Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Mocha. These complementary applications augment my skill set and allow me to bring versatility and depth to my projects.
